.: Updated User-Interface making Navigation Easy

One of the hardest parts of designing software is making it easy to navigate (find what you're looking for), presentable, and enjoyable.  We've taken the time to review AVCataloger top to bottom and redo the entire graphics interface to improve the appearance and usability.  We received great feedback from YOU, our most valuable asset and implemented many of your outstanding suggestions in this new release.  When installing AVCataloger, it will be obvious we have been hard at work with our graphics designers keeping them hard at work with the new face lift in AVCataloger.  We could not be happier with how it turned out!

.: Intelligent Update System

One thing we believe in at NC Software is going to our customers, not requiring our customers to come to us.  We, like you, are customers too and it's very hard these days to keep our software up-to-date.  We have invested great resources to make a system easy for you to keep informed and updated.  New in AVCataloger 3.4 is a brand new update system that will check behind the scenes, when there is an Internet connection, for any updates for the software.  The criticality of the update is measured, and when Internet activity use is low, AVCataloger will download the new updates in the background.  Using smart bandwidth throttling technology, AVCataloger will manage itself with no effort from you.  When the update download is complete, a message will appear notifying you of the update and ask if you would like to install.  Clicking Yes will do all the work, close AVCataloger, then install the update.  No effort involved, leave the work to us, you spend the time keeping your catalogs up-to-date.  We have put this system through the ringer in testing, it has proven outstanding and we are happy with the resources invested for this new technology.

.: Added Features & Functionality

Besides the new user-interface updates, we've added new features.  Now low resolution monitors such as 800 x 600 displays and lower will be able to scroll the CDDB, IMDb, and Online Book Query areas.  Report exports have been enhanced, background update system implemented, and enhanced charting.  We've embedded the streaming Flash tutorials into AVCataloger with the new Tutorials menu.  IMDb now captures Tagline and Plot Outline, and of course many other minor tweaks have been added.  Thank you all for the great feedback and suggestions for these new enhancements that benefit all.
